Omega 3 fatty acids represent an invaluable addition to the human body and keep us healthy.  Our body is not able to produce it alone, so it is only acquired through such things as fish, specific types of seafood, plants and nut oils.

Eating regular portions of fish throughout the week, as well as specific plants and nut oils will allow you to do just that since they are considered to be the primary sources of Omega 3 fatty acids. 

EPA and DHA acids are also found in fishes that prefer the cold water, such as the salmon, halibut, mackerel, the tuna and so forth.  Even though it has been proven true that all of these acids offer an invaluable supplement that allow our bodies to function the way that they should, the healthiest effects of the Omega 3 fatty acids come mostly from the EPA and DHA acids.
